Our routes will accommodate the moderate to the serious cyclist. The rides will average between 30-50 miles a day and of course with the ascending and descending which comes with the Dolomite passes. Daily options for shorter of longer distances available. Not sure you want to ride everyday or at all? This trip is still for you if you prefer shopping, spa day or a hiking day with endless options in each location can be arranged. Corvara is located in a favorable and sunny spot in the middle of the Dolomites on the Sellaronda, at the foot of the Sassongher mountain. The mountain landscape and the picturesque surroundings have a charm of their own in the summer, and motivate the visitor to get OutThere. 4 nights in the beautiful Hotel Marmolada with the warm and friendly atmosphere including an alpine wellness zone and gourmet cuisine will be both relaxing and energizing. The rides out of Corvara will include the iconic and stunning Sella Ronda(quite possibly the most beautiful 40 mile ride in the world), Passo Falzarego and Passo Valparola. The region is full of spectacular scenery while pedal the twists and turns of the roads. Just a cycling dream. An afternoon will be spent in Cortina d’Ampezzo. Known as the “Pearl of the Dolomites”, and Cortina is beautifully embedded in the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage site. The renowned winter sports resort and venue of the 1956 Olympic Winter Games, as well as the 1932 and 1941 Alpine Ski World Championships. Cortina is Italy’s most fashionable mountain resort and boasts of one of the best shopping in the Alps. After the 4 wonderful nights in Corvara, the tour cycles onto the Brunico/Bruneck region for 4 nights. German is spoken more than Italian in this charming area with fairytale like villages. The cycling routes will include crossing into Austria to Lienz, visiting the lake coined “Italy’s most beautiful” Lago di Braies and cycling or a day of hiking in the shadows of the Tre Cime–three massive rocky prominences rise up from the rolling scenery of the Dolomites.
